The coastal road between Beşiktaş and Bebek is narrow and gets congested in the evening and at weekends, so hotels further along the Bosphorus can take longer to reach. Metro, Bus, Taxi or Transfer?
There is no rail line that runs from the airport to the Beşiktaş waterfront. The M11 metro takes you to Gayrettepe, from where you need a bus or a taxi down the hill to the shore. Havaist airport buses serve Beşiktaş, but stop at a terminus rather than your hotel. Going Back to the Airport
For your departure, we collect you from the hotel lobby and drive you to the departures level at Istanbul Airport. From Beşiktaş we usually suggest leaving about three and a half to four hours before an international flight: roughly an hour on the road, plus the time airlines ask you to be at the airport. On weekday afternoons, when traffic leaving the Bosphorus shore builds up, add a little more. The return journey has the same fixed price, and you can book both directions together.
